Meetings
Our meetings are held approximately every 6 weeks and generally on Sundays at various members’ houses, the purpose is to gather everyone from the Association so we can meet up and discuss, plan and share forthcoming events and news.
We have fund raising meeting about 4 times a year and they are literally “fund raising” afternoons. We try not to run on Fiji time and like the meetings to be productive, informal and safe. Members are actively encouraged to join in on debate and idea sharing. Every member has a right of opinion and is made to feel safe when expressing them.
Once the meeting has finished it nice to let your hair down and have a few drinks, chat, reminise, eat classic Fijian dishes, sing and literally dance.
